EU Updates List of Harmonised Standards for Toy Safety Directive

On 5 April 2023, the European Commission published the "Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/740 of 4 April 2023 on harmonised standards for toys drafted in support of Directive 2009/48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council". This latest list of standards can be used for presumption of conformity with the Toy Safety Directive (2009/48/EC) in the EU CE Marking System.

Compared with the last Decision (EU) 2021/1992, the only change is on the revised standards for "olfactory board games, cosmetic kits and gustative games" as shown in the table below.
