
On 9 August 2023, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) published EN 14350:2020+A1:2023 “Child care articles – Drinking equipment – Safety requirements and test methods”, which supersedes EN 14350:2020/prA1 and EN 14350:2020.
This document specifies safety requirements relating to the materials, construction, performance, packaging and product information for the following drinking equipment intended for children from 0 to 48 months of age:
Citation expected for General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC).

2. Added a new Annex ZA
This is an informative Annex, indicating that the standard provides a voluntary means of conforming to the “General Product Safety Directive” (2001/95/EC) which will be repealed by the Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) from 13 December 2024.
