Hong Kong Government Has Launched Public Consultation on Proposed Updates to Safety Standards for Toys and Children's Products
The Government of Hong Kong has launched a public consultation on 2020-12-01 on the proposed updates to Schedules 1 and 2 to the Toys and Children's Products Safety Ordinance (Cap. 424). As consequence of the changes of the "international standards or standards adopted by major economies" referred in the Ordinance, these updates aim to adopt and apply those up-to-date standard versions in the Ordinance now proposed to be amended.
