U.S. California’s Act AB 2998 Prohibiting Flame Retardants in Juvenile Products, Upholstered Furniture and Mattresses

The bill AB 2998 was signed by the California Governor on 2018-09-29, prohibiting the sale of juvenile products, mattresses and upholstered furniture that contains specified flame retardants above 1,000 ppm. This requirement is added to Chapter 3 of Division 8 of the "Business and Professions Code".
