What is BS EN 1751–5.2?
BS EN 1751–5.2 is the European Standard for the testing and rating of dampers and valves used in ventilation systems for locations such as buildings and air terminal devices.
What are dampers?
The damper is a component in the ventilation system that controls the air volume.
Can the air leakages be classified?
Air leakage samples from closed dampers are classified into four classes, A – D, based on the leakage rate.
