US Washington State Strengthens Children's Safe Products Act

On 29 September 2017, the Washington Department of Ecology (DOE) adopted revisions to the Reporting Rule WAC 173-334 under Children’s Safe Products Act (CSPA). Highlights of amendments include specification of reporting deadline and expansion of the Chemicals of High Concern to Children (CHCCs) list from 66 chemicals to 85 chemicals. The new Reporting Rule has come into force starting from 30 October 2017.
