Children's jewelry must be tested

If you sell Children’s jewelry in the U.S. the CPSC requires it to be tested according to the CPSIA and ASTM F2923-14. All children’s jewelry intended for children under 12 years old must undergo testing for both chemical and physical hazards. In addition, many states require additional testing.
